Exuberant dry fruits mix: prunes, toasted walnuts, figs, and dates, with hints of vanilla and sweet chocolate blended with the malt depth. It is a smooth and sweet alcohol reminiscent of cognac. A basket of fine Christmas sweets.
It opens with dark chocolate and dried fruit; then comes prune juice, toasted walnuts, and vanilla; then, a soft and warm alcohol is perceived that also wakes up the throat. It ends in a warm artisanal balance leaning towards the sweet, like semisweet chocolate.
Due to its strong flavor and caramelized component, it goes well with roasted or baked dishes, such as roast beef and turkey; Gouda, Asiago and Brie cheeses and dry sausages such as salami. Excellent as a digestif on its own.
